Our grand opening was on Saturday, November 19, 2022!
The opening ceremony was held on a cloudless autumn day, watched by distinguished guests and the many visitors who had been waiting for the opening.
Then, at 10 o'clock, it was finally time to open!
On the first day of opening, many people visited the museum from inside and outside Kiso Town.
The wooden school building of the former Kurokawa Elementary School, built in 1928, has been used as the "Hometown Experience Center" for 20 years, providing hometown experiences in order to pass on local culture to the next generation.
Now, continuing its activities up until now, it has been renovated into the Kiso Toy Museum, a museum that combines wood education and hometown experiences unique to Kiso.
All our staff are looking forward to seeing you at the "Hometown Experience Kiso Toy Museum"!
