
Experience making bento using Kiso's hi and local cuisine
Experience Kiso's Hinoki and food culture!
We will hold an event where you can learn about the charms of Kiso in a fun way through making lunch boxes using Kiso Hinoki cypress and making the local dish Gohei mochi. The instructor will teach you carefully, so anyone can participate with confidence.

Venue: Hometown Experience Kiso Toy Museum
Participation Fee
8,000 yen (excluding tax) *One bento box and four gohei mochi are included per group *Payment is to be made on the day of the event
Eligible: Elementary school students and above (elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian)
Today's Schedule
12:50 Meet at the reception desk at the Kiso Toy Museum
13:00 Making a lunch box (finish with sandpaper, paint and finish)
14:00 Gohei mochi making (4 pieces, can be eaten on the spot)
15:00 End and dismissal
⚠ About allergies Gohei mochi contains walnuts and soy sauce. Please be careful if you have allergies.
