There are some unusual eggs hiding in the egg pool at the Kiso Toy Museum. We are pleased to announce that a new egg has arrived.

Here it is!
The little "Udon Brain" (left) and his broad bean brother "Soramame Nijusaburo" (right) are traveling around toy museums all over Japan.
Udonno is a mascot character for Sanuki udon. The back of Udonno Tamago's head is engraved with the Sanuki Toy Museum logo.
Soramame Nijusaburo is an egg made with the motif of "shoyu-mame", a local dish of Sanuki. He has many family members all over the country, and he is the 23rd sibling.

Udon brain released into the ball pool.
When the museum first opened, the eggs on display at the Kiso Toy Museum were of five varieties that represent the five familiar trees of Kiso: Japanese cypress, sawara cypress, Japanese nezuko, asarum, and Japanese cedar.

Kiso Itsuki eggs
The egg pool also contains a large shii egg (the only hardwood egg at the Kiso Toy Museum) that was donated by the Nagato Toy Museum.
If you compare the sizes, you can see that they are different.
The egg on the top right of the photo is our museum's Hinoki egg, the egg on the bottom right is Udon Brain, the egg on the top left is Soramame Nijusaburo, and the egg on the bottom left is the Nagato Toy Museum's egg.

Let's compare the sizes
With more varieties, the egg pool has become even more fun. Thank you to everyone at the Sanuki Toy Museum!
