The toy curator works hard to move the old folk tools! Tasting Kurokawa curry!

The Hometown Experience Center, located in the 96-year-old former Kurokawa Elementary School building, will be renovated to become the 10th toy museum in the country.
On the 19th, a total of 34 people, including toy curators, sorted and removed the old folk tools as part of the preliminary work for their exhibition.
We also had a tasting of the new menu item "Kurokawa Curry", and it was a lively and fun event. Thank you very much for your support.
The opening is November 19th. We'll do our best...stay tuned!

[Please support us! Crowdfunding goal is 3 million yen]
The designated manager, NPO Furusato Koryu Kiso, aims to allow people to express and experience the "Kiso-ness" that is based on traditional culture and history, to promote wood education, to pass on experiences that can only be found in Kiso, and to pass on the warm connections between people to the next generation (children), by working together with those who have been connected to promote hometown experiences and the spread of good toys and wooden toys.
The donation will be used to 1) prepare wooden eggs made from the five Kiso trees, and 2) prepare wooden toys for the pretend play corner that allow participants to experience harvesting in a way that is characteristic of Kiso.
